I’m always interested in natural ways to rejuvenate the skin. In line with my ethos, it simply makes NO sense whatsoever to target individual lines and wrinkles, without addressing the overall look and quality of the skin. It’s a bit like trying to paint over the cracks on a wall, without addressing the route cause.

I like to think of the skin the same way as the structure of a building. If you build a strong quality structure from the foundations up and maintain care, the structure will be more robust, without the need for constant repairs.

In the same way, if the quality of the skin is addressed and maintained, in the long run it means less need for other interventions, such as injectables.

If you’ve ever had an injectable treatment, such as Botox and still felt dissatisfied when you look at your skin. Or you can’t put your finger on why you feel tired and aged, then I can assure you it’s the quality of the skin that needs addressing.

Procedures such as Botox simply don’t fix every line and wrinkle. Once the skin begins to lose elasticity, or lines become imprinted at rest on the skin, Botox simply won’t work as well, if at all. It’s at that this stage a client may think the Botox treatment isn’t working properly, when in fact, it’s due to loss of their skin elasticity and integrity.

The initial investment in caring for the skin structure may cost, but in the long run actually cost a whole lot less.

I’ve been performing cosmetic skin treatments for 8 years now and out of all the procedures I do, micro needling, also known as EDS is THE BEST INVESTMENT YOU WILL MAKE IN YOUR SKIN. I was pleased to learn even Jennifer Aniston is a big fan!

Please remember, medical skin needling is different from skin needling done at a beauty salon. The needle depth is longer and the products used along side are medical strength. All ensuring optimal results.

So what results can you expect?

Why electronic?

So how exactly does it work?

The skin is cleansed and numbed using a topical anaesthetic. Active agents, such as hyaluronic acid are chosen and applied to the skin. The electronic device then glides over the skin in circular motions. The device produces thousands of micro medical needle columns in the skin, as each column penetrates the dermis of the skin. The columns will stimulate the skin to regenerate and repair, stimulating different skin cells and inducing collagen production.

How long does the procedure take and what’s the downtime?

The anaesthetic cream is applied around 30 minutes before and It takes around an hour to do a full face. You will want to lay low after, as the skin will look red. The redness will take up to 48 hours to subside.

Following this the skin will begin to dry up and marks from the procedure may still be visible. By day 6 and 7 the skin will return to normal. Makeup can be worn 12 hours after having the procedure done.

How long will it take to see results?

You will start to see changes beginning to happen at around 6 t o 8 weeks. Amazingly positive changes in skin quality will still be happening around 12 months on.

The treatment can be done individually. For optimum results, a course of 3 treatments 6 weeks apart can be undertaken.

***** To raise awareness of this fantastic treatment, I will be running an amazing offer throughout the month of Septmember only.

A course of 3 treatments will be reduced from £600 to £499 and will include a free night serum worth £45
