The 8-Point Face Lift – Subtle, Natural Results - Without The Surgery!
Turn Back Time with an 8 Point Lift
A high percentage of clients who walk through the clinic door are concerned about the subtle signs of facial sagging, skin laxity, and loss of facial volume, definition, and contour.
Many aren’t ready to consider the possibility of facial surgery, nor would they be clinically suitable for such extremes. They simply want to catch things early to prevent progression and subtly restore what’s been lost. This is where the 8 Point Lift treatment is ideal.
How Does Facial Sagging Happen?
Under the skin, we have facial fat pads that are tightly knitted together in youth, like a jigsaw puzzle.
With age, these fat pads begin to separate. Some shrink - such as those in the cheeks and around the eyes - while others, like those in the jowl and nasolabial fold areas, become larger. This redistribution contributes to volume loss and imbalance, leading to hollowing and changes in facial contour.
Additionally, bone resorption occurs, affecting the structure of the jawbone, cheeks, and eye sockets. The skin itself also experiences a decline in collagen and elastin, further contributing to sagging.
What is an 8 Point Lift?
The 8 Point Lift is a strategic approach to facial rejuvenation using the Juvederm range of dermal fillers. It’s designed to address sagging, volume loss, and skin laxity in a balanced and natural way.
Instead of focusing on just one area of concern, we treat the face as a whole - targeting specific anchor points to create lift, support, and subtle recontouring for an overall refreshed appearance.
It’s often referred to as the ‘Non-Surgical Facelift’ or ‘Liquid Facelift’ due to its ability to achieve subtle but effective rejuvenation without the need for invasive procedures.
Key Areas of Treatment
-
Cheekbone area - Lifts, supports, and contours.
-
Lower cheek - Restores volume and support around the lateral aspect near the ears.
-
Mid-cheek (under-eye area) - Helps the area look refreshed and subtly restores the cheek apple.
-
Jawline - Supports and recontours for a defined appearance.
-
Nasolabial folds - Softens the lines running from the nose to the mouth.
-
Mouth corners - Lifts and supports a downturned mouth.
-
Pre-jowl area - Fills sunken hollows around the jawline to maintain smooth contour.
-
Chin - Improves balance and enhances the overall facial profile.
Addressing a Common Concern: Will Targeting All These Areas Make Me Look Overdone or Puffed Up?
The simple answer is no.
When done correctly, the goal is to provide lift and support, not to make the face look overfilled.
A large portion of the treatment involves injecting small amounts of filler deep into the facial tissue for lft and support, ensuring lift and structure without excess volume.
The aim is always to achieve a natural, refreshed look - never an artificial or exaggerated result.
In fact, the 8 Point Lift can even have a slimming effect by restoring balance (see photo below).
As we age, the face tends to become bottom-heavy and narrower at the top due to volume loss. The treatment helps reverse this by redistributing volume to create a more youthful, heart-shaped contour.
This process is all about balancing and harmonising facial features.
You can see this in the before and after images of Mel and Adina, who have both kindly consented to sharing their results.

Client 1
Immediately post-procedure.
You’ll notice that her face actually looks slimmer and less elongated. There’s less heaviness at the bottom with a subtle lift, and slightly more projection to the cheekbone area. Her jaw contour is also visibly improved.

Client 2: Jawline Transformation
Immediately post-procedure.
In this image, you can clearly see how the jaw contour is dramatically improved. The lateral cheek area, near the ear, looks supported and less lax, showcasing the structural lift achieved with this treatment. -
Client 3: Jawline Transformation
Immediately post-procedure. Incredibly results!!
We see incredible results from the 8-point lift treatment, though not everyone chooses to share their before and after photos. However, it's a firm favourite among many of my clients!
Is Everyone Suitable for an 8 Point Lift?
This treatment is ideal for individuals who:
-
Are beginning to notice facial volume loss and sagging, but aren’t ready for, or don't want surgery.
-
Want to restore facial contour and maintain structure.
-
Are looking for a general facial refresh.
It is not suitable for those who:
-
Have moderate to severe facial sagging and unrealistic expectations - surgery may be a better option in such cases.
-
Do not meet the necessary medical criteria for safe treatment.
A thorough medical consultation is always conducted before treatment to ensure suitability.
What is the Key Benefit for Clients?
The key to long-lasting, natural-looking results lies in addressing the foundation of the face first - structure and support - before moving on to skin quality.
Over the years, I’ve found that many clients treat different areas ad-hoc at various times, leading to inconsistent results.
Some areas wear off faster than others, and it can become confusing to maintain.
With the 8 Point Lift, we address multiple areas in one treatment, providing long-lasting support and contouring.
What's also great is the fact that you won’t have to think about re-treatment for 15–18 months, leaving you free to focus on skin quality in the meantime.
This makes maintenance simple and organised for both the client and practitioner.
How Long Does the Treatment Last?
The Juvederm range of fillers is superior in quality, FDA-approved, and backed by extensive research. Clients can expect results to last 15–18 months.
However, lifestyle factors such as smoking, sun exposure, and poor skincare may impact longevity.
How Long Does the Procedure Take?
I like to allocate two hours for each appointment, allowing plenty of time for assessment, treatment, and aftercare discussion.
What is the Downtime?
Downtime is minimal, and most clients can return to their daily activities straight away.
Some mild swelling or discomfort may occur, but this usually subsides quickly.
For a large portion of the procedure, a cannula is used to minimise bruising and trauma, ensuring the treatment is performed as safely as possible.
Some areas, such as the marionette and jowl regions, may be more prone to bruising. If this occurs, bruising can last 1–2 weeks, so keep this in mind if you have any important events coming up.
